Ethiopia October 21 - November 11, 2006

Barry Reed organised this long trip which was undertaken with Mick Ilett and Phil Ball. Barry used Jenner Expeditions for the arrangements, who supplied us with a Toyota Land-Cruiser and a driver. See the diary for more details.

Weather
The rainy season had recently come to an end and most days were hot and sunny; very hot at times, in particular in the Jemma Valley, Langano, and at Bogol Manyo. Some days provided cloud cover with the odd spot of rain, but this was only heavy at Yabello. The first day on the Bale Mountains was very cold and fog caused a problem, although the following day was fine and clear.
